Jeanine Mason (January 14, 1991) is an actor and dancer born and raised in Miami, Florida. After winning Season 5 of FOX's So You Think You Can Dance and earning the title of America's Favorite Dancer, her acting career began.
Mason currently stars as Liz Ortecho in the CW's midseason drama series Roswell, New Mexico. She previously recurred as Dr. Sam Bello on ABC's Grey's Anatomy. Other TV credits include Of Kings & Prophets, Bunheads, You're The Worst, Criminal Minds, NCIS: LA, Daytime Divas, CSI, Major Crimes, Big Time Rush, Awkward, The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Hollywood Heights and The Fresh Beat Band. Recent films include Valerie Weiss' The Archer (SXSW 2017) and Simon Brand's Default opposite David Oyelowo.
On stage, she was last seen in Center Theatre Group's 2017 revival of Zoot Suit directed by playwright Luis Valdez opposite Demián Bichir.
She resides in Los Angeles and is a proud Bruin who graduated cum laude from UCLA in 2014. Mason is pasionate about education & female empowerment. She is also an avid supported of the Alzheimer’s Association and Camfed.
